Now if I can incorporate something like that to my class 11 clone I'd be set. what does the lower mounts look like??

I'll get a pic next time I'm under there (wont be long I'm sure). The lower mounts are just flat bar welded to the trans support. It was bolted but it kept coming loose so I just welded it.

here's my 72 baja which Matt and I will be trading bodies so I can have my class 11 clone.

I'm debating if I will cut the back off and trim the deck lid or leave it to look like a true class 11, but with better bumpers

I recently fabbed rock slide bars, and plan on redoing the front and rear bumper guards. LED tailights, have been the funnest project yet!

here's mine

I plan to paint it red with balck tear drops in the front, black rear fenders, and maybe do the rims black. Rear cage, and tires, and possibly lift it first though.

I gotta love the "things" those are very cool.

Actually, I haven't posted the official sign ups yet. It will be in the next couple of weeks once I have the Tshirt artwork finalized. I'm afraid that I may have to limit this years participation due to the limited campground size at Mobiland. Those that participated last year will have first crack at it, but there should be room for around 24 cars this year, 8 teams of 3. I'm working on overflow camp space and if anyone didn't Need to be in the campground that would be fine, but in the middle of summer a pool and clean bathrooms are almost a must. I'll keep you in the loop.

ahh no its cool i was just going out to ckeck out everyones rides and just be a lookie loo ya know! and even if i dont need to camp there because i love the desert! most of my trips are in the summer anyway! i know its crazy but i like not having to worrie about people!

That's a big reason we do it in the summer. Don't get me wrong, i love to meet new people. All of the people that I go to the desert with I met on the internet so you are more that welcome to come out. it is just to the point after last year that organization is a must. If you can put together a team of 3 to compete that would be great. Have you checked the website out?
