Here's mine.
Picture shown is when it still had the reduction gear in it. I put a stock transaxle in to improve traction on pavement and to get rid of the jacking. Wish I kept the redux though, awesome for crawling and the extra ground clearance.
I've owned this car since 1992. It used to be a lowered street car until I found out how much rust there was and I had more baja parts than street anyway.
I did a body off restoration, all rusted body metal was replaced, heater channels, rear quarters, both floor pans, etc. New headliner and interior, etc, etc. This took me 8 months.
When I have more time I'll post my resto thread, lot's of pics showing how extensive the rust was and all the repair panels I hand made, hammered and welded in.
I went with a '62 pan for the king/link, has welded in adjusters. 3" body lift, one piece front end, side bars and tube bumpers plus skid plate. Full flowed, fully balanced, 1641 with 45mm Dellorto's, German 009, solid rockers, swivel feet, Engle 120 cam, ported heads, 7.5:1 compression, quiet pack exhaust, 30.5's on the rear.
Future upgrades may include disk brakes, and IRS.
It goes 'almost' anywhere. :)

Here's mine. This is right after I got 235's on the back. Its a 65 pan, 71 body, 69 1600 single port engine and 71 trans that was converted to swing. Its my DD and will take me off road now and then. Bought it July of last year.
My plans are to finish the rear bumper. I have a four point roll bar I'm going to put in. I'll eventually tie it into the front as well. I would like to build me a little bigger engine. And I'll have more plans as I figure it out more. |

It's a mid engine so the transmission is basically turned backwards. I think that's what you're seeing. |

RaceCo baja built bt Kevin Pirtle. 105" wheelbase, 6" wider beam, 1 1/4 longer arms up front, 3x3's out back, fox's at all corners, 091, 1835 type 1. It has a type 4 in the picture but that blew up. The car was built at least 30 years ago. |
