I am hoping someone can shed some light on something for me.
I just purchased a 1.7 liter engine i plan on rebuilding and when i
got it home and was cheking the engine stamps I found an odd blue ink
stamp above the normal stamp below the breather. the engine id that is stamped is ea060146 wich matches what the guy told me its a 73 1.7 out of a porsche 914. but right above that in blue stamped ink is 0220188 and
have never seen that before. im wondering if it is a rebuild or was this a porsche thing. has anyone ran into that before.

| Could be anything, you have no guarantee it's original and you'll find out the whole story when you dismantle and measure it, don't worry about it for now. |
