I tend to agree that it looks like it now, but any info on the question of paint change dates as posed in my question? |

Unfortunately, the red on the outside is a bad repaint. Underneath, there is some bad bodywork. And when the parts that need to be replaced are cut out there will be little original paint. I can only wish that this bus was in as good of shape as Skims SC. That thread was epic. Especially Greg's SC. WOW! |

here's some progress on the bus. I now have my 4" beam in and will have my transmission in hopefully the tail end of next week.

Recently 'finished' although there are a few changes to make! It has a 5'' beam, 3'' narrowed rear, rancho pro-drag box, 2332 ida motor, fk89, comp elim heads, 12.5 comp. Going to run a 1776 with a freeway flyer soon though as I think its a bit overcooked right now :) |

Yeah, it's got a white nose. Not my fault. ;)
We pulled it out to clean up the garage.
One of the reasons I haven't been able to work on it much.
Winds up being a storage bin in the garage... |

My SWR 60 DC pulled out from storage after 15 years in there and is being sold to a new owner, who hopefully will have it on the road shortly.

I've been watching this thread since 2009 and finally can add to it. Great stuff =D> Love the retired work trucks.
Forgive the stinger & wooden rear bumper  Parts lying around and better then nothing the way people drive where I live.
