It's that time of year again. Let's make some plans this year so we aren't running around finding hotels at 2am like last year. Although I did enjoy meeting Meagan 'aka' "Daytona" She played a mean game of Beer Pong

I am considering making reservations at Nova Campground. It's only like 5 minutes from the show. Is anybody with me?

Hey Bradley,
If we can afford to go, We will stay at Nova.
I really want to check-out that flip seat mechanism too, as I may try to replicate it for my bus.

Never stayed at the Nova Campgrounds, is it a decent place? And are the rest rooms clean?

It's been there for a hundred years but every thing is nice and every site has power. they even have cabins you can rent if you so please. I have stayed there twice. It is like $22 a night depending on what type of spot you get. The price goes up according to amperage 20amp 30amp ect.

The showers have been there for a while but they are all nicely painted and well kept. They allow us to split a sites witch is good for buses.

I think if anybody could build one you could. I doubt you could make it look like these because the body of the mechanism was pressed with a several ton press but I bet you could make a mechanism that will operate just as well. the hardest part will be finding a seat that will work. It is not a regular bus seat. I am thinking one out of a school bus would work.

Nope I had already made plans for that weekend by the time Joe told me about it.

I think you could modify a school bus seat or a bench bus seat to work. Or one out of a small pickup like my Nissan.

We need to Nail down some plans for NOVA cause it will probably fill up for this weekend if we don't make reservations soon. We may be too late as it is.

Thought I'd bump this up with a link to remind anyone who is/might/wants to come to Daytona

There is usually so much more going on than what they have on the website, namely the cruising and Bel-Aire Plaza! (and other extra-curricular activities)

I am trying to make plans for a place to stay. I have found a cabin that sleeps 6 at nova campground and there are lots of campsites open at $25 a pop. If you plan to camp bring a heater.

I will reserve the cabin if I can get 3 or more confirmed to share it. But time is of the essence so contact me very soon. Either today thursday or friday. If I don't hear from people by then I will just reserve a site for me.

I am trying to get ahold of Tony from south florida. Al said he might want to attend.
