Anyone interested in some virtual bus activity around Northern California?
There is a list forming for those bus-types who reside south of the Wetwesties and north of the OCTO and Los Angeles groups. For those of us kinda caught in the middle. A club where local VW Bus owners can conspire
to meet offline for a gathering, a barbecue, a campout, a few brews, etc. Open to all years of VW Bus owners and enthusiasts, no snobbery here. You do not even need to own a VW bus to be a member.
Once again: The club is slanted towards, but not limited to, those of us caught in the middle between the Southern California folk and the WetWestie folk in the Pacific Northwest. We are a small, new group and anything but stuffy. And right now, there are only a small handful of us!
Maybe we can get together and have our own "brew cruise" or something. Or we can meet in a parking lot somewhere and lower property values. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/SanFranciscoBaywindows/ |

The yahoo group posts show your member interest in Burning Man 2002. People interested in going to Burning Man are definitely anything but stuffy! Great luck on the club and I look forward to hearing about your exploits in No. California. For anyone who doesn't know what Burning Man is, go to http://www.burningman.com/whatisburningman/
Sounds like a fun group! |

Thought I would be fun to look at the oldest threads on the Bay Window forum (I guess they fall off after a while?). By odd chance, this was started by our friend Static.
I am happy to say that Static is, 7 1/2 years later, still leading the charge to get San Francisco-area buses together. For those of you interested in joining us, we have moved on to this group on yahoo:

Keep on rockin', Static. |
