Can the older style "door pin" side view mirrors be used on a Super?
I don't much care for the big honkin' square mirrors.
Probably a simple answer, but I just wanted to make sure.
Thanks! |

| If you're talking about the ones that mount on the top of the door hinge, then yes, BUT you have to take out the old hinge pin and put in one that has the threads at the top. I got mine, both driver and passenger side from CIP1 I think. |

Cool! I found all the required stuff at MAM.
Just want to ask if there is anything I should know about the proper removal and re-installation of the upper door hinge pins.
Do they just tap out from the bottom up? Or is there something I should be prepared for?
Thanks! |

According to the Bentley book, a special tool is required to remove the door hinge pins. Does anyone know where I can find a tool like this?
Thanks! |

| I used a hammer and a drift pin, from the bottom up I believe, but I might be wrong. I did it before I painted it, otherwise be very careful. |

You could try this one. Pricey, but it'll get the job done. |
