I'm sure the law of diminishing returns will be in full effect at 30 PSI, hope you have pleanty of meth.

Here it is FYI.

my 2165 drawthrough sidedraft motor went 36psi on numerous passes. Never a cylinder problem. No meth, just c16

Strongly disagree. I have seen no evidence of a lack of reliability with 94s.

My daily driver is 88x94 turbo. So i guess i don't see the problem.

Where did i say that 94's are unreliable?

its implied by you stating that 90.5s are the (only one you give) reliable choice.

not to split hairs as seems to be what you are doing, but kept in the context in which this was written, Noof stating that "2110 would be optimal" (then stating that 90.5's have proven themselves)does not imply that everything else is unreliable(by that line of thinking we could deem that the original vw cylinders were unreliable, and that's just plain silly, but he didn't mention those either)... don't confuse interpretation with implication.

I certainly think green is the best color, but that doesn't mean the rest of the colors are unreliable or even inferior...

im not splitting hairs. just making sure people arent scared to run 94s because of 1980's mentality.

thats all

it's all preference or opinion, right? my new turbo engine is 2275, i ain't skeered...

fact, more displacement = quicker spool time, more power off boost, run larger turbo...

win-win

fact is, any mismatched components can make the above wrong... argueing about one component in a package is silly.... I know that you know 94's are reliable(post up a link to the apron dragging runs!) and I also know that noof knows that 94's aren't unreliable.... but the OP did ask for what folks thought was the best... that opens it wide open to opinions and experiences, as well as theories...

ok well who here has experience with 2165cc+ motors running 30+ psi boost?

What size of turbo are you running?
My current set up won't pull the wheels untill 3rd (Lag)

If i'm not mistaken(given that i actually wrote that, that means i think there's a possibility that i could be) The Noof has posted experiences of 30PSI+ with his car...

Tight Fit, must be fun to work on.

it was, I made the whole setup with zero body cuts etc. Ended up making the apron removable just to make it easier. Now its not bad at all.

...just gotta remember to drain the radiator before pulling it
