I know that rear shoulder belts were an option in all late model beetles. The question I have is what are people using to put them in there if they never came stock with them? Will a set from the front work? Who has the best if I have to buy them new aftermarket?

Also do I have to change the center part of the belts as well? (belts are not in my cars at all so I haven't had the chance to lay them in to see, just wanted to see what others have used)

The anchor points are there, so you just need to locate them and bolt the belts in.

I am aware of the locations, I am just curious if anyone has used a front set in the rear and if so how well does it look/work? I have no headliner in my car at the moment so I am going to make sure I keep the location marked so I can install later.

Aren't they all the same? I wasn't aware that there is a difference in them...if there is. But I don't know anything about the back ones anyway. Mine didn't have any when I got it, and I used belts from an airplane in the front.
