my question is
Is it possible to take a type 1 trannsmission and change the output dirrection in order to use it for a midship/rear setup instead of its stock rear/rear setup?

| Yes, it's called swapping the ring gear from side to side. But you're in the wrong forum to ask this... |

| No problem...the engine/performance forum would be one or the dune buggy one would be the other. More than a few guys running mid-engine setups there. Use the search feature! |
