| It wont work! 75 super beetle. Can anyone explain the set up to me the cable comes up to a box in the trunk then another cable from the box to the speedo. Anyway mine isnt working. |

Not too familiar with the later beetles. Might check the left front tire/hub right in the center is a little square nub, that's the end of the speedometer cable...there's a little clip that holds the speedo cable in place...sometimes it falls off.
Under the assumption that they didn't change that feature over the years. |

| jack up the front of the car. pull the cable out of the speedo. spin the driver front tire and see if the cable spins. should tell you which way to look next. |

or it came loose. if it doesn't spin keep following it and check where it screws in at. if then, it screwed in all the way, most likely it's the cable. but you can pull out both ends and spin it yourself and see. |

| cool... it sounds a lot harder than it actually is.... i've seen both the speedo be bad and the cable, so it's really a 50 50 shot. |
