Hey So I've got a 81 Caddy. Im looking to swap a few things around on it i.e. a cabby grille, bumpers and maybe arch mouldings.
I've been told you can swap dashes in and out from a few other models into a Caddy without much work. Will other door cards/panels work into caddy doors? Anyone have any ideas or know-how on this? What else makes a cool swap on these trucks? Thanks |

I have an 81 as well. I put the single round light front clip on it. It has badgeless grill, crosshair smoked headlights and euro bumper and duckbill. I put a cabby dash in it. Pretty easy swap. You will need to weld new mounting brackets in for the dash. I had to do some wiring to since the switches are different. I believe the door panels are the same as the 4 door rabbits. I don't think any other model will fit. I'm making my own.
Pretty much from the cab forward is the same as a rabbit. |
