I just bought a towbar with mounting plate from thesamba for a good price, only problem is, it didnt come with the screw/bolts that mount the plate to the beetle, does anyone have one on their super, and can you take pictures of the bolts/screws? thanks

This sounds like you bought a home made tow bar,, or it has a home made mount ... and that you didn't get all of the system...
often in a tow bar like that,, they weld someting to the axle,,, or there's another plate behind the axle with long bolts clamping the two plates to the axle.. |

| Keifernet assisted me when I first hauled my Super home. Remove the bolts that hold the sway bar in place and then use body-to-pan bolts to mount the plate in place. They are the same thread pitch, but are longer and will do the job. If you need some body-to-pan bolts, drop me a PM and I'll have them out in the mail to you. |
