I was thinking about running 185r15's on the rear of my 69 (stock height)to close the gap for a cal look. Running 165r15's infront w/drop beam.
Before I go on the quest to find these tires I was wondering if anyone out there had pics of a bug with these on. THANKS |

| nope, running 195 up front and 205 in the rear. But my car is only about an inch lower than stock and that is due to the 'settleing' of a 40 year old car. |

I'm running 185-65-15s all the way around on Gurneys. There are no rubbing issues and they don't stick out beyond the lip of the fender.

I have a set of 185's and 145's for my '69. Currently they are mounted on the rims but I've yet to put them on the car. I've run '185's in the rear before and they fit well, that is why I got them for this car. As for any wheel gap, that depends on the health of your rear torsions. My '69 is a low mileage car so I expect it to sit a little high, I may take it down a bit but will determine that after I get it back on the road. If I get around to mounting the wheels/tires this weekend, I'll post a pic.
