Doing some body work and i noticed these holes on the body under the bottom door hinges. It looks like its factory but it seems like a weird place for a hole so near to the ground. I'm eventually going to get to that point in my restoration but i mine as well ask now. whats the purpose of this hole? drainage?

yeah i wouldnt be surprised if there was something living in my heater channels. the hole on the driver side is exactly the same size, which is why i thought it was stock. |

| That is where the front drain would come out if it had a sunroof. |
