Every morning when I start my bug it tuns on then turns off right after. It does this 3 or for times. Then it stays on put as I give it gas so it won't die out it back fires...
After its warm and I drive for a bit it feels like hesitation when I try to accelerate. I set my rockers at .006 but the engine is very loud. did I do something wrong. Also I set my timing at 30 @ 2500 rpm. |

| not sure what distributor you have, but if your setting your timing to 30 @ 2500 rpm it sounds like you have a 009. which is supposed to be set between 28-32 at 3500 RPM. if in fact you have a 009 your timing is wrong. |
