I'm getting nothin' but boxes with photo deleted ^^^
I haven't touched mine in quite awhile. I bought a DRZ400s back in Aug and have sunk all my time and money playing with that. i do plan on getting back to the baja very soon though. |

Larry, do you have pics of how you carry your boards? I use a soft top roof rack, but i cant carry my 10'6" b/c the roof rack pads can only be about 3 feet apart and that makes the surfboard move around too much.

I went through and adjusted all my brakes, pulled one side apart and replaces a leaking pushrod tube seal(springloaded alum tubes), and built a new ashtray cover, then installed a few additional custom touches. When I put heat back in my car the ashtray liner, ashtray, and ashtray cover were MIA. I had the opening in the dash covered with black duct tape, and hated it. The thing I started to do was make a cover for the hole, but was not happy with the way things were going so I sourced an ashtray housing/liner and ashtray, then custom built this cover, and decided to follow the theme somewhat.

| No actual work done to it today. However, I contacted tweeds about a shipping quote for some lift spindles...time to raise the front. |

| Finally installed the heat box sleds, ceramic coated heater boxes, one CV boot, and mock up of Baja stinger Sat & Sun. Gotta weld the exhaust together yet then paint it. Also drilled engine cage and skid plate for stainless carriage bolts. I was using U bolts which got to be a pain to remove for engine work. |

Wow, no one has cracked this thread in days. Well, I'll do it.
I added a few more bars to my 3/4" conduit roof rack. im impressed with its strength. Before the extra bars it held all 190lbs of me.
So, since i am going on a camping trip and need a place to carry my spare tire, i added some more bars. i figured that since the 40lbs tire (thats a guess) would be on the car, which is bouncing around, it would need a bit more support. I also need to make a top hoop before i leave, but that means i need to rent a conduit bender again...lame.

No rain or snow so I pushed the car out of hibernation, pulled the plugs, hooked up the battery and double checked my work on the electrical I did thru winter, ran the starter, got good oil pressure, screwed plugs back in and fired it up. Short drive down the driveway and back and ran out of fuel. The put it back to bed.

New discs on front with 2 reservoir m/c. Man I love the stopping power. Plugs, valves set, and changed the oil. Ready for summertime.
Forgot, both new outside door handles. I like being able to lock it now and know I can get back in it. Also, 2 new 30 inch rear tires. Gave it a perfect stance, in my opinion. And, I am the one that counts. Had 28.5 and those were too short.
