Yesterday I built a table mount valve spring compressor tool, removed the top end of my engine and removed one head.
Today I installed new valves on one head (lapped them), and installed new gaskets and push rod tube seals. Got most of the engine put back together.
Hopefully will have it back together tomorrow. :)

New throttle cable and e/brake cables while the engine and tranny are out, and I got the tranny disassembled to replace the reverse idler gear.

Finally! Got the new tires mounted. Sprayed her down and wiped her down and got her back on the trailer for the next outing. The PO had wheel studs on the right rear drum with different size lugnuts and 4 wheel bolts and 1 wheel stud on the left rear with different lug sizes. :(

Rebuilt the engine cage and rear bashplate, that I removed last weekend. Found out my sandrail flies straight, smooth, and lands flat. Also found out that 8' x 35' is waaaaaaay too much air for my swingaxle and stock linkpin set up. Blew up a 1/2 shaft nitrogen loaded front shock, as well as removing all the rear cage and bashplate, and the offroad breather and lines, sheared off drain plug temp sending unit as well. Got everything together, shocks on front replaced with some old 1/2 ton Ford rears, still need to buy new oil temp sender.
