was wanting to put some larger torsion bars in the bug...know i want to use either 26mm or 27mm...most likely 26mm....question is...i've seen them at cbperformance for one price and at pacific custom for half the price.....which one has someone used and any problems?!?
ok for those techno's.....its a blown 2332....taking the air ride off cause its not fun slapping the ass on the ground when i launch it ,though the air is cool for show, but not for ....mmm.. .racing....uh....ok....OK...yeah we street race ....only sometime  ....now we plan on doin the track thing so the air goes.
anybody got two cents?!?!? |

| With that much HP spend the money and buy Sway-A-Way torsion bars. Do not buy the Chinese junk for 1/2 the price. |

| i have used both the pac custom ones (read chinese!) and sway away's. actually for a street car the chinese ones held up well for about 3 years. then they started to sag. at the 1 year mark the rear end height was still the same as when i put them in. at 3 years the rear height was about an inch and a half lower! during that time i installed a set in my drag car. took about 20 passes and they were sagging bigtime! went to sway aways in the drag car and no more sag. 3 years later i pulled the sway's out of the drag car and put them in the street car, and bought new for the drag car. i would suggest buying the sway aways in the first place to prevent alot of hassel. |
