| I have found out the paint was not latex but just a older enamel paint. I will have the car re-painted........Roger out and end of thread. |

| My first Beetle in 1980 ( a '68 ) was painted with a brush and yellow latex paint. You could leave it out in the hot sun and with a finger nail, pick the paint, and peel it back like a rubbery skin. |
