So I'm ordering parts for my ghia conversion. I know I need the lower Ghia arms to go with the spindels, but are thing upper ball joints the same diameter? Can I just install new Thing uppers and use my stock arms with the ghia spindles or do I need all 4 arms? Or will ghia balljoints fit in the thing upper arms?

I think that there's a difference between lower bug/ghia ball joints and the Thing ball joints, but the upper ones are all the same... Correct me if I'm wrong.

The shaft of the upper ball joint is larger in diameter. However, if you use the Thing eccentric with the Thing ball joint it will fit the Ghia spindle.

Looks like I can use a beetle balljoint in the thing arms, as long as I install them the right way, and use the beetle camber adjusters. All in a beetle/ghia spindle that is.
