| my transmission acts funny when I drive it. At low RPM's it bucks really hard and only smooths out when I romp on the gas. It doesnt want to coast while in gear, as in when coming to a stop sign, it just starts bucking. When I bought the car the guy said it had a "racing clutch" put in. Does anyone know about a "racing clutch" for the Mk2? The clutch is self adjusting, and not to mention its something like 5,000 miles old, I have the paperwork on that one. Any comments, besides the ones that I need to learn how to drive, would be appreciated. |

the tranny bucks? or the engine bucks?
Is it an 8v or 16v?
Have the ignition timing checked |
