| Cleaning the pan and wheel wells and pretty much the entire bottom of my 69 ghia. I am going to POR15 and then coat w/ Spectrum. Good idea? Bad idea? What do you recommend? Pan is perfect w/ some little surface rust. |

| Sounds like a good idea. I would just POR-15 that bad boy a few times. Might leave a cleaner look. |

| instead of the undercoating? I was doing the undercoating more for the noise with the rocks and crap hitting the bottom and the wheel wells. |

I agree I would use POR-15 too then the sound dampener I would put on top of the pan under your carpet and I would use Dynamat or something similar. |
