What is your favorite, restaurant and why?

I have worked in the restaurant business for a while, and every trip to a restaurant wether it be fast food or something fancy I notice little things like lighting, servers standing around, or anything that is tacky or out of place.
I think Wahoo's has it down, every worker from the back of the house to the front is always smiling. Not to mention it is reasonably priced, healthy, and good food.

What is your favorite?

Wendy's, because of the junior bacon cheeseburger.

Wahoo's is good...

You've got to try the fish taco place on 17th st. in CM, Dustin. Can't think of the name right now but I always make an effort to have lunch there with my board building buddy when I'm in town.... he has a running tab there ;-) Good surf vids on the screens and the beer is cold!

Taco Loco in LB is the shit too... the blackened chicken burger ordered HOT ...hmmmmmmm.

Over here it's hard to beat Mama's Fish House... Bucks but sooooooo ono, wen go broke da mout

I was in the restaurant biz for many years... worked my way up  from a dish dog to bartender(short lived). I still can't go into an eatery and not "see" things.

I'd sure like to experiance a WaffleHouse some day... I hear the service is topnotch .

I hear the SeaSide Bar is lovely this time of year.

I've never worked in a restaurant but most of my family has. It's fun to get their take on stuff, especially food presentation. Also very annoying at times because they can tell you what food service they are using ie Sysco, RMCFoods, etc... My brother can tell you where they get their hamburger and what quality it is.

We have a local diner here that is top notch on every point. Food prep, presentation, staff, cleanliness, lighting, ambience, even the damn type and style of salt in the salt shaker. My friend is the creator and owner of the joint and he is a trained chef. He is also obsesive compulsive about things, which is exactly what you want in your food prep.

Parmesan's in Frankfort has the best pizza EVER! Lang Lee's in Orland Park has great stuff. Eggrolls are awesome and the Mongolian Beef makes you wanna slap yo mamma! It's a dive but soooo good!
I'm not eating much right now; too much stress. :(
