Hi,
I am using my '71 411LE as a daily driver for a couple of weeks now, but seems i have a problem..
Am afraid that one of the CV joints on my right hand driveshaft is on its way out. I have come across some new ones on Ebay (quite pricy!!) but i was wondering if any other complete driveshaft from another aircooled or non aircoold VW would fit? |

| The Type 4's share CV joints with Things. IIRC, the automatics use two different length drive shafts, but on the manual both sides are the same. I don't know if any of them interchange with any thing else. |

| I would think T2 CV's are the same as the outer diameter is the same. They are more abundant :wink: |

T2 CV joints are not as deep in cross section as T4 ones. T4's CV's can handle a greater operating angle. |
