| Does anyone out there know of a reputable restoration shop in the area of North Dakota? (I know, that is a large area) I live in Minot ND and want to get my 63 ragtop body on 69 pan partially restored. It is in pretty good shape and just needs some TLC. The kind that Bugs that old need. I would like to go with a shop that has experience with Bugs and not just some old body shop. I want to make sure that the work is done right and that I am not getting just "a paint job". Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

I wish you all the best for finding a close reputable bug shop.
Truth be told, I wouldn't rule out other body shops. The quality of work you want always comes down the age old rule...how much are you willing to spend?
I'd try looking for a shop that does quality show cars, or something of that nature. Talk to several shops and compare rates and especially how long it till take. Explain what you're wanting done in great detail. Don't be afraid to leave it for a while if you expect it to be done top notch.

don't rule out shipping the car.
we have had a few clients ship to
us and drive it home, or ship it back. |
