I've got a coworker that said when he was in Germany in the early 70's he had a '59 Beetle with factory front disc brakes.
I called bullshit, but want to ask around to see if there was a "special" German model that may have had disc? |

| What model Beetle came with disc brakes in '67? I don't know of any that were imported into the US that had disc. Just curious. |

| no beetles were impoted in 1967 with disc brakes.. wasnt the T3 the first to have them? |

| Euro 1500 models had them, and those you see here in the US were either grey-market cars or those someone bought under tourist delivery. |

He's full of sh!t. Very few cars in the 50s had disc brakes. Even PORSCHES didn't have them until the early 60s. |

Alot of folks who "had a VW" have no idea what year it was. You friend probably had a "69."
