My January built 49 got its semsphores today, a big thanks goes out to John Henry, they look and work a treat.
I had the car sitting in a museum for winter and its now back at home, so I've started to fit the parts that I've collected.
Just thought I'd share some pictures.
Here's what came out.
And here is the replacements.
Add 6 volts and ooohhhhaaa

Most period pics of stds have the sems in black, in deluxes it was more common for them to be painted the body color. I believe either is correct.
Nice to see those sems in a split where they belong!!! |

Are those the correct L/R semaphores? It's hard to tell.
