well i just got this bug and need a side mirror, but im not sure what the mounting part needs to look like? any help?
and yes i know im a noob. :D
i bought the car and its at my moms house out of state so im not there to check it out.

| two holes above the fenders are for and antenna...the mirror should mount on the door hinge I see something sticking out there that part should screw off if I am correct... |

Maybe this will help.

The hinge pin on the door has a piece you can see sticking up in your photo. The mirror ount slips over that pin and then there is an acorn nut that screws on and keeps things tight. |
