I have a Flat Four brand roof rack on my beetle and the wood slats were
peeling badly. i stripped them and recoaute them with UV stabil outdoor varnish. That fix lasted a year now they are peeling again. What do others use opn them, and how does it last? I was considering teak oil but kind of iffy on that. |

| I use 2 parts Linseed Oil and 1 part Turpentine warmed on the stove. You can ad a little Stain in too if desired. I ad a little Dark Oak Stain! |
