Hi guys,

I hope someone can help. I have an NOS speedometer and NOS ATE master cylinder. Both are marked "for VW" but the nine diget part number starts with "431" (example 431-000-000)

Can anyone tell me what VW these parts are for. Are they Audi???

you seem to be pretty inept for someone who appears to be a pro parts seller. :idea:

Check your dictionary very closely my friend. "Inept" is insulting, along the lines of "incompetent". No, I'm not a "pro parts seller", just asking a question on these parts. Please learn to master this language enough in order to avoid insulting strangers, thank you! :roll:

thanks for the duplicate of this post that you seemed to think was so important you sent it to me as a PM.

you seem to be under the impression that english is not my native language or am i misunderstanding that?

in the context used in my first reply "inept" is i feel the very appropriate designation whether you're a pro parts seller or not. that you interpret the word as meaning "incompetent" is exactly correct and is precisely what i was implying since a few seconds of research on google would have answered your question even if you don't understand a single word of german.

Actually I did research on Google and wasn't very successful, so I guess you are wrong. You are also incorrect in your second assumption, Ich spreche sehr gut Deutsch! :D :D :D
