This badge is just a club badge, that is celebrating the 1 millionth beetle correct.

http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=320982&highlight=production+millionth Thats what I posted. My buddy is arguing that the badge came from VW. I said it is a club badge that produced it, hence the insignia |

| I would say that badge is from the German ADAC. Nothing to do with VW. |

That's interesting, but there were original badges and programs produced for the '55 celebration. Those badges have been around since before the 1980's. I would like to know why you think this particular badge is an 80's fake, by just looking at only the obverse side. :? BTW, The "originals" were made in Germany.........Bonn, Germany by the Hoffstatter company. |

I've seen them once on e-bay in a plastic bag and then in a box with about 15 badges.
Didn't saved the picture!
A shame....
Maybe someone saved it on a website... |

They are not that rare pascal !
I would like to find a original 100000 km treffen badge from July 54 !
You can find a lot repro's on ebay but Original ???
The bad thing about the originals is that these had no stamp in the back !
 So it was more easy to reproduce these badges !
But You can see differents in the red and bleu ribbon, and also the vw logo is a litlle different !

Here is the "secret" on the '54 badges. They, in fact, have no Hallmark........but the originals can be identified by an indentation across the reverse center of the badge. All originals have this flaw..............even the "best" reproductions cannot duplicate it.
The rare badge is the '52 and the REALLY rare badge is the "silver" '52. |

IMO it is an original badge. Why do you say it is fake? Did you make them? |

| The 1952 Hunderttausender badge is for a "Herbsttreffen" or Autumn meeting. |
