i cant seem to find too much info on these buses . i thought the samba would have answers ! a fella is selling a mercedes-benz l319 in my neck of the woods , i dont know what kind of shape its in . hes asking $1500 . good deal? are they worth anything? any info would be great . thank you

Mine's a later (1975) O309D, but I'd kill for one of those. It's a bit bigger than a VW Bus, but not as big as the O309, which is just under 20ft. Incidentally, Russ, mine's a rare high- roof, which is why you can walk around upright in it. I think it's one HELL of a deal, unless it's rusty.
Mercedes- Benz, unlike VWOA, has a dedicated "oldtimer" division that really helps owners of older vehicles out. Almost everything is still available for their cars, and in USA you can get most replacement parts for trucks and buses through Freightliner. |
