| On my 71 bug, there is hardly any rust, everything is nice and solid, but when I wet sanded the car with all the windows out, the pans filled with water, and water found its way into the heater channels. No big deal except that I can see rusty water dripping from what I assume is a weep hole. So obviously there is some rust inside the channels, nothing on the outside. Is there anything I can do to prevent futher rusting? Any techniques for getting Por 15, or something like it inside the channels? Thanks for any and all ideas. |

| If you scroll down this page and go to page 2 of this forum, you'll find two or three threads already coving this. Search for "POR 15" or even "heater channel" and you'll find a goldmine of information. |
