I finally have a splitty. I bought it for a good deal. The woman I bought it from said it originally came from a guy in Surprise AZ. She bought it in July of 07, did a little bit of work. I am just looking for some past history or info on the bus. Any help would be great. Thanks.
the pics may not be the best, but I can take more if needed. I drove her home.
Thanks |

| I don't recognize it myself but there is a guy in Surprise (Scott) that has been finding a lot of Buses and selling them so it could have been from him. |

| Congrats Tony. One of the best deals I have seen in awhile. Just wish I had a little more cheddar in my pocket. I am happy it went to a good home. |

| Were the windows on the passenger side cut in? I have never seen a panel with windows on one side. I am new to the bus world though! Nice bus.... I like the green 8) |

prob swapped out the cargo doors and then cut in the one on the side panel. guess they ran out of motivation for the other side. |

sounds about right. I am trying to get info. I spoke to someone who said Vw made it as a panel van and then someone(or a company) made it into a camper interior with the cut out window and the swapped doors. There are a few holes in the roof above the doors, possibly a awning bracket or tent attachment. I will take pics. The green paint is just rolled on. This is going to be my third project. I have the westy that needs some love, the syncro for the winter and the panel after that. Maybe my priorities are screwy, but the syncro will make me have fun in the snow. I can not put the splitty into reverse, so I will start hunting for a good deal on a tranny.
I will keep you all posted. I will also take some pics of the holes above the doors, should be up by the end of the day. |

the hardest decision is "what do I roll in to vw shows with"
the syncro has heat and awd
the westy has a furnace with a bed and the panel, has safari's and a front seat :) |

| So Tony, I'm thinking you need to roll that panel to the Mount Shasta Snow Adventure with us. Grab a co-pilot (Matt? Justin? You guys awake?) and roll out with us. |
