| I am new to Beetles and have a 1955 Baja. I have heard about and saw a quick blurb on a "Bug Me" video about replacement pieces for heater channels on Bajas. These are not heater channels and are used in their place. Can anybody tell me a source for them? I've been all over the net and print ads for over a week and can't find them anywhere. |

Do you mean the heat exchangers? You can buy J-tubes which replace the heat exchangers, but those are on the engine (between cylinder head and exhaust header on #1 and #3 cylinders). The heater channels are the sills along the bottom of the car and are part of the body. |

| Thanks Neil. Looks like I was wrong about the name J Tube. What I'm looking for is mentioned near the beginning of the Bug Me video about replacing heater channels. There wasn't a real good view of it but it looked like a heater channel. It's the first item he shows in that segment. |
