Probably. That's a weird video, and isn't correct.
"All the luxury, comfort, safety, electronic and entertainment features you desire." well, if you desire, um, none, then yeah. Don't get me wrong, I love The Thing, but these are some of the last adjectives I'd use to describe it!
"Convenient electronic options include (pause) ." - that would be none.
"Entertainment options include (pause) ." - that would be none as well.
"...original paint..." Nope, not even according to the link. "This is a 1973 VW Thing ... finished in a Camo Green over Tan Leather. This Thing was originally Pumpkin Orange." |

"Convenient electronic options include"= Headlights, tail lights and blinkers.
"Entertainment options include"= Gas Heater, roll the dice and fire it up. Kinda like a Jack in the box.

Ah, it was just a miss-spoken word. He meant "electric" not "electronic".
There's nothing electronic on a stock Thing (no semiconductors at all).
I often find that putting the top up while it's raining is entertaining to they bystanders... |

| That video was funny. Sounds like the speech in Simple Text on my Mac. |

I don't know why, but that struck me as sooo funny! The type of awkward obvious truth that Luna Lovegood is always spouting. |

| Steee-range! Proof once again that the Thing simply refuses to be forced into any pre-concieved notion of what a "car" is. It doesn't fit into any of the catagories. That's why it's called a Thing! No one could figure what else to call it! |

All the safety features you expect? |

I just noticed the trunk. Man, that was one bad paint job...
Wouldn't want to see what that diamond plating is covering up... |
