I have a 1975 911, at start up the GEN light goes off but the Battery light flashes the entire time driving. and the battery will go dead if ran untill it loses charge. So is the alternator not working? or battery not taking the charge? It has a new battery in it. Any help would be great on what to check?

| Check to see if you have reversed the polarity of the battery. - goes to the chassis. |
