I have a 50 split, not sure if I want to convert to 12V, I have the 25 HP engine, but I might want to upgrade later. Any suggestions

Yes, one suggestion : if your 25hp is the original one (or month and year correct), KEEP IT! Otherwise your car will loose a lot of value.
And, oh, another suggestion... What do you want us to suggest you? Your post lacks details, history, and, well, questions... After all, Jim was right, trade your 25hp against his 1600 ;)
