The reflection in the window is the clue.
But why bother?
There a topic dedicated to cars like that: http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=149769 |

kind of looks like an Isetta to me. maybe thats why I like it.
I have wanted one of those for awhile. i think you would have to use a
square window beetle for the front so you could see out.
whatever end, end's up being the front. |

| Even with a large "front" windshield you'd be seated too far back from it to see much through it. |

| So that would be a "double split". We could call it a "quad"?? |

| I forgot to add: It's illegal to run any car with a front windshield that's made of anything other than laminated safety glass, so you'd have to trailer it everywhere you go with it. Beetle rear windows are tempered, and if hit with a rock will shatter into a thousand little shards. You don't want to be facing directly into it driving 60MPH when that happens, trust me. |

Your ruining all my fun!
it's not like a beetle's a safe car to begin with. |

Not strictly true... Original VW screens were tempered glass, not laminated. I had the one on my Karmann Ghia shatter at about 85mph. The replacement one was laminated though! I think the laminated rulings only apply to new screens. |

| Well by the look of things it would no longer be a Beetle. I think it would be more akin to a Turdle. |
