I was at work the other day, looking at the Samba, instead of working, and found a thread about a guy doing a total restoration on what I believe was an oval. My computer did a forced re-boot, and now I can't find the tread to finish reading about it... Not sure where I found it on Samba...
....The guy was in europe somewhere...
... the car looked like a driver when he started..
...dark red, or maroon, in color, maybe?
....Used NOS heater channels..
...Fabricated a lot of tough to make parts...
...replaced the nose, and front quarters...
... trailered the car somewhere, and had a goofy name for the trailer like 'glam trailer', but I can't find it when I search for that...
... the thread was many pages long...
I'm dying to see how the car is going, I only got as far as some of the major body work, and there were a lot of pages left in the thread.
My searches have been fruitless! Thanks, if anyone can help. |
