Could be original.

Do you know what they are worth?

Glenn Thu Nov 13, 2008 8:31 pm

Nothing unless you have an EMPI Imp.

Kind of a limited market.

Ebay is the best way to let the world know you have it and it goes to the highest bidder.

Sure it is worth something...

Like Glenn said, the Market will tell you what it is worth. It belongs on an Empi Imp Fiberglass Buggy.

Here is an original Empi shifter for sale $900.00

Here is a nice / restored steering wheel for sale $800.00

Here is my ad for a nice 1970 catalog that I have for sale.... It will probably end up on E-Bay.

Original Empi stuff has a good value.... It is only worth what someone will pay for it.

Well thank you all for the info the buggy was in great shape but it didnt have a empi wheel or shifter, But it did have the empi usa lic plate frame so i snagged that.

Why didn't you score the whole thing, instead of just some bits?

I see you are from Stockton.
If you want some real EMPI history, find Chuck Tatum, Crusader Race cars. he built one of the first Formula Vee's, his son still races them, and he was GM of Economotors for a short while, during the Joe Vittone days. He has a website, Google Crusader Race Car and I imagine you'll find it, along with his phone number. He doesn't have a huge stash of EMPI patts or anything (if he did I would have tried to nab them years ago) but he is a real wealth of info about the early days of EMPI.
