I tried finding a thread on this, but had no luck.
So here is a question of personal opinion.
I am restoring a 60 15w bus. I have 60% of the original glass in great condition. The remaining 40% is delaminated pretty bad. It will be comparable to npbusguy's 15w bus restoration, but more along the lines of a daily driver. So in your infinite VW knowledge and opinions, should I hold tight and try and piece together good enough glass or clean up what I have and utilize it for what it is?
*I have been in search of these pieces for over a year and have had no luck as of yet......... |

| If I was doing a seriously nice restoration, I would replace all the glass with new and get it SIGLA-logo'd. |

| i have thought of that and have read a few threads on making a logo stamp. I have been to a few glass shops here in San Diego and they wont touch making a logo. They also tell me that thickness of glass isnt available anymore. So I was deterred from going that direction. If anyone knows a shop that will do it please let me know or if you have a stamp you dont need anyore. |

Bus Fractals. They tell a story. IMHO, If you are doing anything less than a full resto, and they don't impair the drivability of the bus, I would say leave them be. Unless they are unsightly, they are a form of patina. |

Right windshield in the Church Bus. Seemed like a fitting place for Jesus to stand.
