Got the 64 in Sep of 07 was planning a full restoration but... found a 62 while looking for parts. Its an old repaint of the original color.
It was on a 65 pan when I got it.

Built a wooded frame to hold the body over the pan w/ casters to save on space while I work on the pan.

Found a 64 sedan body and had it blasted, replaced the passenger side pan half and covered it w/ Por 15 kit.

Rust issues on the body...
The support rails... its still very solid in the middle.

Big jump on the photos...
Tires are 175 x 55 up front and 185 x 65 rear.
The front beam from Airkewld 6" w/ drop spindles and disc brakes from Ac ind.

Rebuilt stock 67 transaxle
New brake lines
Dual brake master reservoir upgrade
Added a steering dampner

Here's a pic of the 62 I came across while looking for parts. Sold the bike and got this for a good deal.
The body is very solid. No rust on the support rails or the heater channels

It came on a 68 pan... I still have the 65 pan the 64 came w/ so I'll be using that for the 62. The 65 pan need a lot of work and pass. pan half.
After buying the 62 I decided to just put the 64 back together w/ out doing any body work or rust repair on it and just get it running.
Buffing the old paint...
