Aloha Samba World,
I am in the process of restoring my 56 oval and was wondering where I can find a quality full interior kit? Planning on using my car almost daily and possibly some shows!
TMI?
Wolfsburg?
Sewfine?
WCCR?
Thanks |

| I like Sewfine had good experience with them I know people swear by WCCR but I think that they are pricey. |

IF you want it to approach an original style interior (smooth single color side panels, etc) AND you are really going to drive it every day AND don't want to spend the $$$$ for WCCR, I'd go with TMI.
You can get a special order through J-Bugs. That way you don't get the square window two tone that just isn't right. Be about half the price of WCCR. Not as correct, but a pretty close approximation for the cost. Just my 2 cents. |

| What Russ said times 2. I've got a TMI kit in my daily driver 63 Beetle. It looks ok from 15 feet away, but the fit is awful on both the seat covers and the carpet. I bought the German cloth interior from Lenny (West Coast Classic) for my 56 Euro Beetle and couldn't be happier. There is NO comparison between the two. |

I have TMI....mostly because it all came with the bug when I bought it. It does the job...not a perfect fit...but good for my daily driver.
If I was going for a perfect restoration I definitely would choose something different.
I think I posted some pics of the interior in ur other thread. |

| Where does Lenny get the materials for the vinyl applications? I know the cloth he uses comes from Germany, but wasn't sure about the other items? |

| West Coast Classic! Worth it especially if you going with cloth. When I bought mines for my 57, I thought I must have been crazy. I could have cheaped out and went with the others. But once I installed it, man it came out beautiful. I'm glad I didn't go cheap. |
