The thin knife-shaped tools in the middle of this kit are the ones you need:
The tools slide into the vertical slots on either side of the unit and release the hold-down tabs so you can simply slide the unit out. |

if you wish to use the radio again make sure that you have the radio code and be sure that your alarm system will continue to function correctly if you remove the stock system.
i don't know the answer... but i do know there have been many problems when removing the original system.
