So the day started out great with a local car show, some pictures etc... :D

Then we head home, and in the distance we see some smoke

Then there's more smoke

Then we're driving right next to the fire

And if you can't tell from the smile, we made it. Hopefully, the firefighters and homes nearby make it too... the fires were burning pretty badly off the 91 fwy today.....

Hey Eric, I feel left out :( No worries though, I was at work and thought I was gonna get dispatched to assist in the Sylmar fires, but they sent my partners instead.

Then all of a sudden, we have our own fires in Rancho Palos Verdes. Thank goodness they were containd befor it got out of hand.

I hope you guys had a good time 8)

BTW Hi Bob, how you doing?

We didn't tell you Edward, because the magazine editor would have to explain why the pictures of your car were not printed in reverse.

Actually Edward, you would've been a good addition.

If you notice, we had a hard top, a rag top, and a convertible. A RHD would've completed the pack!

The photographer was already complaining about fitting 3 bugs in the picture though.... a 4th might have been impossible 8)

Hello-

When I was at UCLA, air always looked like that. I guess that's why LA has such wonderful sunsets.

 Yeah, the editor might have dropped my pics on the cutting room floor after discovering that error

Cool 8) that you guys got your nice rides in a magazine. I thought it was just a friendly cruise and fellowshipping in So Cal

Bet your rides turned some heads and received honks of approval. Great Job fellas!

X2, Don't forget about LASD, we are also first responders and at ground zero as well....

I hope you and your family stay safe. 10 miles is to close for comfort.

As the wife and I were watching the fires from our balcony, we discussed what we should take in the event of an evacuation. It was decided that “we take whatever will fit in the Volkswagen”.
