I did the search, but did not find the answer I needed.
I have an 88 Fox 1.8L with a BAD oil leak at the back of the head.
I need to replace the oil pressure switch, and before I drive 30 miles to the dealer, need to know if one from a Jetta engine is the same.
I have a Jetta engine sitting in the corner of the shop that I got in a parts deal. Can I rob the switch out of the Jetta engine to get the Fox fixed. I have not researched it, but I think the Jetta is a 1.9L. |

| Yes, a Jetta 1980-89 should be the same switch 056 919 081. |
