Bill Warner... chairman of the Amelia Island Concours de Elegance emailed me yesterday and advised that VWOA is unable to sponsor the VW coachbuilt class this year... Which means VW Coachbuilts will not be a feature. Kind of a bummer. VW is cutting back as are most of the Auto Companies I suppose. Amelia's sponsorship is down about 20% Bill said.
In any case.. Bill is going to try again in 2010 for this class. I will keep you all advised. |
