how do you do this??? i have one and the engine runs bad ass with it,,,,, but the cross member or engine mount wont fit with it?? i dont want to get wrid of the headers if i dont have to!!!! What can i do?? and oh ya i was looking at the set up and i cant just notch out the mount to fit. id be cutting too much off!! Making it week....

70/71 bus (its a split year bus)

A-1 makes a great header for the 71 bus bay window.Ceramic coated and good performance.You will not be sorry.Sell the one you currently own and get an A-1 :wink:

Where does the header interfere with the mount?

It will look simuliar to a type-3 header,pipes are bent to clear rear support bar.

I used to run a Bugpack Streetmax header and an A1 dynomax Muffler on my two olds 1775 engines, very nice setup:









And I had a new custom all stainless steel A1 sidewinder exhaust for my new 2074 engine:

These are vary nice......but money money money!!!!!!! dont have 500 or more to put into an exhast!!

I have a Berg 1 1/2 heaterbox system on my '71 and it clears fine.

bummer... it looks like the bus doesnt have the rubber/metal mounts on the ends of the cross member?? hmm i wonder if the motor is sitting lower too? thats a good pic though... its going to help a lot!!! i can totally do that!
